PS/2 Port

  • PS/2 stands for Personal System/2nd Generation.
  • It has 6 pin female connector.
  • It's color is Violet.
  • It is used for connecting PS/2 Keyboard.


PS/2 Port :

Serial / COM Port :

  • It used for connecting serial modem or mouse.
  • It is also called as COM1 Port.
NOTE: You do not create a folder with name "COM1" because this name assigned to port.


Paraller / LPT Port:

  • It used for connecting Scanner and printer.
  • It is also called as LPT1 port.
NOTE: You do not create a folder with name "LPT1" because this name assigned to port.



Video / VGA Port

  • It has 15 pin ( 3rows ) Female port.
  • It is Blue Color.
  • It is used for connecting to Monitor.


USB ( Universal Serial Bus ) Port Features :


  • 1. You can connect any type of USB devices. ( ex: USB keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, pen drive, HDD, CD-R+W/DVD...etc )
